EMSA invites you to a special workshop on the Common Information Sharing Environment (CISE) to be held via videoconference on 19 September from 8:30 to 10:30 (WEST). In its third edition, the CISE Virtual Open Day will focus on the recently launched Operational Phase of CISE, and how maritime operational centres can benefit from using CISE in their activities.

The workshop is open to anyone who would like to receive a basic introduction on CISE and gain an understanding of its technical set-up, administrative aspects, and operational use. We will speak about the next goals ahead of CISE concerning the establishment of the Classified Network (for the exchange of information up to EU-Restricted), and about getting more and more maritime surveillance authorities onboard CISE.

If you represent a maritime authority, industry, academia, media, etc., or you are simply enthusiastic about enhanced maritime information sharing and closer cooperation among authorities with responsibility at sea, this workshop is for you!
