Join the CISE workshop at the European Maritime Day on 24 May in Brest, France!
We are delighted to announce that CISE will again be present during the European Maritime Days, this time to be held in Brest, France on 24-25 May 2023. The workshop “How CISE can strengthen the EU’s maritime security” will be organised by EMSA and the CISE-ALERT project consortium and will take place on 24 May at 14:30 - 15:45 (CEST time).
What is the role of CISE in the updated EU Maritime Security Strategy? Is CISE network ready for the operational phase expected to start in 2024? And how will the CISE-ALERT project support shifting CISE towards an operational network? All these questions will be addressed during the workshop by the invited experts representing different maritime authorities and EU bodies involved in the implementation of CISE. Based on the presented use cases of CISE, we will also discuss the useful data and services to be implemented in CISE by the CISE-ALERT project to help maritime authorities to maximise the use of CISE and to facilitate the information exchange among them. Moreover, the participants will be invited to actively participate in the discussions through questions and polls.
