On 11-12 May, EMSA held another virtual training for the administrators responsible for the management of the CISE Node in their respective authorities. The training was attended by twenty participants from 6 EU Member States (MS) and EU Agencies.
EMSA organises training courses for Node Administrators on a regular basis to provide stakeholders’ ICT experts and other involved persons with thorough knowledge and skills to effectively manage their CISE Nodes. The CISE Node is one of the main building blocks that allows sharing information among all the participants connected to the network. The node software and related technical support is provided to the stakeholders free of charge.
For the first time the 2-days long training course was divided into two sessions: one dedicated to “newcomers” to CISE and the other to more advanced users. On the first day, the participants received an introduction to the technical setup of CISE, including the use of the administration console and basic management procedures. On the second day the theoretical lessons learnt on the previous day were put into practice with designed exercises and a dedicated test environment was prepared for the participants.
The next training course for Node Administrators is planned to take place in Autumn 2022
