Work with us
For over twenty years, EMSA has been serving EU maritime interests for a safe, secure, green, and competitive maritime sector.
From our Lisbon headquarters, we support the European Commission and the Member States across a wide range of tasks.
These include the decarbonisation of shipping, the prevention of pollution from ships, maritime safety and security, maritime surveillance, and the provision of advanced digital tools and services.
To carry out this mission, we depend on our best asset – our talented and dedicated staff.
When recruiting, we look for outstanding candidates from different backgrounds – maritime experts, but also administrators and IT professionals.
Diversity and inclusion at EMSA: our principles EMSA recognises the value of diversity and inclusion in the workplace, believing it fosters a productive environment where everyone feels appreciated, their skills maximised, and organisational objectives achieved.
