Imaging Sonar
Underwater ROVs are excellent tools for conducting underwater inspections. However, sometimes the water quality is not ideal. Integrating a sonar on an ROV allows the operator to extend his vision beyond what the underwater drone camera sees, thus making navigation and operations easier and more efficient.
Manipulator
ROV could be embed with a gripper capable to retrieve small objects from the seabed.
Water Sampler
The Water Sampler is designed to collect discreet water samples at any depth. It is ideal for use on a ROV or another underwater vehicle. It is a free-flushing sampling bottle with a non-metallic sample chamber, activated by a unique end stopper triggering mechanism. The release mechanism allows the end stopper to close by simply pulling on a lanyard loop.
LASER measurement tool
The 3-dots laser pointer is designed to take underwater measurements.
HD CAMERAS
High performace image definition though a 1080 HD Camera with tilt.
LED LIGHTS
6 x 1.500 lumen each.
USBL
Ultra-Short Baseline positioning system (USBL) is a system for underwater acoustic positioning. It is used to track the ROV, consist of a transceiver mounted normally on a pole under the ship keel and a transponder on the ROV.
SURVEY SENSORS
The sonar survey is a complementary service supporting the ROV interventions. It intends to collect data to detect wrecks or other objects laying on the sea bottom. Depending on the mission’s characteristics and environmental constraints, the service can be performed either through a Multibeam Echosounder (MBES) designed to gather bathymetric survey and mapping or a Side Scan Sonar (SSS), which is used to inspect the sea bottom.
