Another training session on ISM Code & auditing techniques took place in Lisbon from 12 to 15 March 2019. As in the last event participants were Flag and Port State Control officers from the maritime administrations of the Member States.
The course through a number of case studies ensured that participants became familiar with the basic principles of the Code, as well as the different types of audits (Flag State, RO and internal audit) and developed a practical approach to the interpretation and application of the ISM Code through case studies and role play exercise.
