A training course on EMSA Guidance on LNG Bunkering to Port Authorities/Administrations took place in Lisbon from 29 to 30 October 2018. The intension was to provide a general overview of the EMSA Guidance, including a collection of best practice elements in the different aspects of LNG bunkering with the objective to support Port Authorities and Administrations in the selection of the best applicable framework to define and implement adequate support and control measures, like Environmental best practice, different applicable Regulatory frameworks, Safety Distances and Simultaneous Operations.

The training was combined with a back to back Workshop (31st October) on the same subject in order to discuss, propose and evaluate possible amendments/improvements to the existing EMSA Guidance.
