An advanced training on ship security took place in Lisbon from 3 to 4 October 2018. The training session was designed for officials of the maritime administrations involved in the implementation and monitoring of the EU legislation related to ship security, both at the central administrations and in the field (as flag state inspectors, or duly authorised officers) with a reasonable level of knowledge and experience in the field of ship security matters. In it's duration the training contained mostly number of case studies were included aiming to give to participants a practical approach on ship security issues.  They had the opportunity to work together so as to understand several practicalities and exchange experiences.
