The second training event under the Maritime Security component of the EU-funded Black and Caspian Sea regions Project’s took place on 11 – 12 November 2020 delivered in a live broadcasting synchronous mode.
For the Port Facility Security training, a total of 20 participants from the countries of Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Turkey, Turkmenistan and Ukraine, took part in the discussions with practical cases with different scenarios which reflect the problems encountered at the level of the Administration in the implementation of Maritime Security.
In this way, the participants were provided with additional knowledge and expertise about the port Facility requirements such as the specific for Regulation (EC) 725/2004, the SOLAS Chapter XI-2/10, and the Port Facility Security Assessment as an essential and integral part of the process of developing the port facility security plan (PFSP).
