Stand-by Oil Spill Recovery Vessel(s). Lot 1 – Bay of Biscay; Lot 2 – Northern Baltic Sea; Lot 3 – Canary Islands and Madeira; Lot 4 – Atlantic North

brezzamareThe Agency provides additional response capacity to that of the pollution response mechanisms of EU Member States through contractual arrangements with private or public companies/groupings. Such companies/groupings can be drawn from any relevant industry including shipowners/operators and the spill response service providers.

The contracted vessels would undertake normal commercial activities and, at request, be transformed and mobilised at short notice for at-sea oil recovery services during an (major) oil spill.

This procurement procedure for stand-by oil spill recovery vessel will cover the following areas:

  • Lot 1 – Bay of Biscay
  • Lot 2 – Northern Baltic Sea
  • Lot 3 – Canary Islands and Madeira
  • Lot 4 – Atlantic North

  • Lot 2 – Northern Baltic Sea: 18 February 2025 at 15.30h CET
  • Lot 3 – Canary Islands and Madeira: 19 February 2025 at 10.30h CET
  • Lot 4 – Atlantic North: 19 February 2025 at 15.30h CET
