CleanSeaNet awareness session for Duty officers delivered on 18 and 19 September 2024
Twelve staff members of the Maritime Administrations of Montenegro and Albania and two staff members of the Maritime Administration of Lebanon have attended the online awareness session for Duty officers.
The session was aimed at incentivising and optimising the use of the CleanSeaNet services provided to the three beneficiaries of the EU financed Projects for technical assistance implemented by EMSA.
Albania, Montenegro (under the IPA III project) and Lebanon (under the SAFEMED V project) accepted the CleanSeaNet Condition of Use and are provided with the service to facilitate the identification of oil spill at sea, the potential polluters when combined with maritime traffic information as well as to enable affected countries to organise a prompt response and minimise the potential damage caused by the spill.
