The CleanSeaNet service is available to Albania and Montenegro, the two project’s IPA Beneficiaries that signed the service condition of use.

Twenty-six operators from Albania and Montenegro have been provided with access to the service and can get near- real-time information of possible oil spills and potential polluters, in the waters under their jurisdiction. The CSN service aims to strengthening the response to illegal oil spill discharges, and reducing the risk that the spill reaches the coastline. The beneficiaries that have adhered to the service are also provided with SAT-AIS information to facilitate the identification of potential oil polluters.
