Within the framework of the BCSEA II Project and the Pilot project on AIS sharing it is implementing, EMSA organised a Webinar on SSN for Georgian representatives to discuss and provide clarifications on the steps needed for the implementation of SafeSeaNet phase 3A of the Pilot project.

EMSA provided a short overview of the implementation of the MSW in Europe (EMSWe) explaining the need to define a common interface and language for the EU NMSWs and presented the objective and scope of SSN and its technical and operational requirements, providing general overview of the content of PortPlus, amongst other topics.

The webinar was held via videoconference on 17 April 2024 with 8 attendees from the Maritime Transport Agency of Georgia.
