A dedicated session for MLC, 2006 Inspectors was delivered for the BCSEA II Project beneficiary Georgia on 4 – 6 June 2024 and held at the Batumi State Maritime Academy with the participation of 10 representatives from the Maritime Transport Agency of the beneficiary country.

The interactive training aimed at achieving a high level of understanding of the Articles, the Regulations and the Code of the Convention and in its second part, the participants were guided by the EMSA lecturer through a simulated inspection on board a vessel to check the MLC, 2006 ship and seafarers’ related documents and to also inspect the living and working conditions for seafarers
