In February 2024, as activities embedded into the BCSEA II Project Action Plan for 2024, EMSA delivered two online Awareness sessions on CleanSeaNet for Duty Officers one being dedicated to Ukraine (21 – 22 February 2024) and the other one was organised as a regional event (27 – 28 February 2024).

Despite the challenges posed by the ongoing Russian aggression against Ukraine, 20 staff members from the Maritime Administration of Ukraine successfully completed the bilateral session and altogether 15 participants from Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkiye underwent the regional one.
